Hundredth Monkey has developed the first ever protective headgear designed for paintballers. “Our soft shell TurtleCaps provide head protection to players without affecting their game. Now, players who don't like getting hit in the head are no longer limited to big bulky hard plastic helmets which subject them to ridicule, hinder playing, and are not designed for paintballers.”

Hundredth Monkey Caps are great for all sorts of paintball game play from tournament players, recreational players, and referees. They come in Black, Red, Blue, and Camouflage. As a field owner, one of your main concern is to make as much safety gear available for your customers tin increase the safety level and the Hundredth Monkey TurtleCaps are a perfect choice to have in your shop right there along with the paintball masks.
When you purchase one make sure it fits right, there are different sizes so find the one that's right for you. Have your make on hand to test how your mask fits over this hat. One problem I found is it would make the bottom part of my mask(VForce Profiler) closer to my chin and there would be less room for breathing so after a while in a game I would find my mask fogging up if I was breathing hard. I had to slightly adjust how I was wearing the mask to accompany the hat and it worked find since.
I was really happy with the hat saving my head from some half a dozen shots or more that would have left stinging welts. All shots to the head so far have not broken so you will notice a great bounce rate compared to any other head protection. I found the hat warm by my second hour but not uncomfortable, the slots in the hat allows for enough air flow to keep your head from getting too hot. After a few dozen games there was splatter on the hat so it was time for the washing test. The photo above is of my hat after I had washed it on gentle in cold water. There was no fading of dye and no stains or threads loosening. The paint washed out and it looked as good as new.
This is is a really good choice to go for when looking for protection in paintball. I would put this as number 2 on the basic protection list: 1> Goggles, 2> Turtle hat, 3> Neck guard, 4> Gloves, and then anything from there. It is in my mind something that would go hand in hand with your paintball mask purchase. Ask for Hundredth Monkey Turtle Caps at your local pro shop. You will be glad you have one when that head shot hit you.
