Dye i4 mask Review:

To start the Dye i4 mask looks great. You can tell right away that this is high quality and its design is all about the lens and light weight. But with its great looks, there is somethings that I wish would be better to increase safety. Don’t expect this mask to protect your head, this mask is all about protecting your eyes and ears in an attempt to minimize the profile of a mask so if you have a large head, this mask won’t protect you fully. Your jaw will show and even more of your jaw when your yelling. If you have a small head this mask will work great for you but there is still no forehead protection. I wish they had produced a add-on like a forehead piece. The “high def” lens that come with it is remarkable! I was skeptical but everything was crystal clear plus the lens works great at night. Taking the lens out is a breeze but I found it a bit difficult to put back together.

My overall thoughts on this mask is that it’s great for someone that don’t care about getting hit in the head or jaw, someone that wants to “go all out”. The price is a little disappointing, even with it being out on the market for a few years now the price has not changed all that much. There is one thing I must point out that I tested the Dye i4 with my glasses on and with my contacts, this mask is not designed for people to wear glasses it just feels to tight with glasses on. This mask does look great, feels great if you don’t have glasses, and is one of the best quality masks out there. I would suggest it.
