2012 Central Florida Paintball Series PSP's Southeast Affiliate Announces 2012 Dates/Details! 

    

CFPS 2012 Dates

February 11-12

March 24-25

May 5-6

June 9-10

July 21-22

September 8-9

 

 This season, PSP Affiliate League, "Central Florida Paintball Series" (CFPS) will offer D6 3-man traditional round robin type, RaceTo-2 5-man competition in D5 and D4 as well as RaceTo-4 in divisions D4, D3.

 

ALL RACETO FORMATS WILL BE MATCH PLAY

In 2012, RaceTo-2 formats will be played like RaceTo-4 formats. This means teams will complete their matches point after point against the same team without other teams playing between their points. The RaceTo-2 format will be an 8-minute match with a 2 minute break between points.

 

Match Formats

RaceTo-2: 8-minute match

RaceTo-4: 12-minute match

3 man: 6 game preliminary round robin, 5-minute games.

 

PSP - APPA rankings will be used for player classifications.

 

 

PSP MEMBERSHIP AND APPA RANKINGS 

You will be required to be a 2012 member of the PSP in order to participate in a CFPS event, we will not be issuing ID cards this year. You can purchase your membership on-line through the APPA. If you purchase your PSP membership for CFPS, the cost is $30. If you play a PSP event, you will have to have a full PSP membership that will cost $60. You can upgrade your 2012 CFPS / PSP membership ($30) to a full PSP membership ($60) on-line or at a PSP event for an additional $30. CFPS will not receive payment for, or issue any 2011 PSP memberships or ID cards. You must do this on-line at the APPA website. Anyone paying for their membership at a CFPS tournament will pay the $30.00 plus a $20.00 late fee.

 

 

 

 

ENTRY AND PRIZES:

All prizes increased by $50.00 from 2011

 

D6 3-man

 Entry - $120 per team

 Prizes - 1st place - 6 cases of tournament paint

             2nd place - 3 cases of tournament paint

 

 *Series prizes: Series trophy. Custom CFPS T-shirts with CFPS Winner-2012 logo.

 

RaceTo-2 - D4 and D5

Entry - $300 per team

Prizes for each division - 1st place, less than 8 teams - $500.00

                                1st place, 8 or more teams - $600.00

                                2nd place, 8 or more teams -$350.00        

 

 

RaceTo-4, D4, D3

  Entry - $600 per team

Prizes for each division - 1st place, less than 8 teams - $900.00

                                1st place, 8 or more teams - $1250.00

                                2nd place, 8 or more teams -$600.00        

        

Series Prize -1st place, each division - Series Trophy. 10 cases Ultra Evil, to be used by the 1st place team entered and playing in World Cup 2012. Teams that wear KEE gear (Empire-Invert) throughout the series and at World Cup will be awarded an additional 10 cases. The winning team will also be awarded eight custom CFPS T-shirts with CFPS Winner-2012 logo.

 

 

 

Out of State and International Teams

We have had a great working relationship with the Polk County Tourism board for a long time. In an effort to bring more teams and people to Polk County for our competitions they will pick up $100.00 of the entry for any teams competing who have more than half their players living outside of Florida or the U.S. All rostered players will have to sign in at the event in order to qualify for this discount.
